MTS Calibration Services Help Ensure The Validity Of Your Test Data And Efficiency Of Your Test Lab
MTS FlexTest Controller Calibration
To help ensure the quality of your test data and to make sure your MTS FlexTest Controller is operating in optimal condition, it is important to calibrate the controller electronics at least once a year. These partitioned calibrations are especially relevant in large structural test setups where it is not feasible to conduct an end-to-end calibration, but where data integrity is extremely important.
With the automated MTS FlexTest calibration process, the time to calibrate is half of what it used to be with a manual process. This significant time savings means testing can resume sooner with more confidence in the test data. Malfunctioning boards can negatively impact test data accuracy, and slow down your test program. With frequent calibrations, you maintain both your test schedule and data traceability.MTS FlexTest Controller Calibration Brochure
MTS FlexDAC Data Acquisition System Calibration
Maintaining your data acquisition equipment is essential to collecting relevant and accurate test data. With the new MTS FlexDAC calibration offering, you can affirm the measurement integrity of your data acquisition system. Conducting partitioned calibrations on system components is critical in large structural testing applications where it is difficult to conduct a full end-to-end calibration, but where large amounts of data are collected and measurement accuracy is paramount.
There are two options for conducting the calibration: either through a service purchase or an equipment purchase. You can choose to have an MTS Field Service Engineer (FSE) conduct the calibration, or you can purchase the Calibration Kit and an annual software subscription to complete the calibration yourself. When an MTS FSE does the calibration, you will receive a comprehensive report showing whether channels are in tolerance or out of tolerance and that the accredited calibration was performed. The report includes as found/as left values and recommendationsMTS FlexDAC Calibration Brochure
